Nigerian nightlife entrepreneur, Cubana Chief Priest, has stirred reactions on social media after showcasing his luxurious country home in his village while addressing critics living abroad.
The celebrity barman shared a series of videos on his verified Instagram page, @cubana_chiefpriest, displaying a modern white mansion, a spacious compound, and luxury vehicles driving onto the premises.
In his caption, written in pidgin English, he questioned individuals who claim to love Igbo land but have not contributed to its development, while also criticising some people abroad for speaking negatively despite not investing back home.
The Cubana Chief Priest further highlighted his investments in Owerri, stating that he has built extensively in the city and takes pride in developing his hometown. He also threw his support behind the “City Boy” movement, describing it as a movement of people with value, and encouraged others to focus on hard work and progress.
The post has since attracted mixed reactions online, with supporters applauding his achievements, while others expressed concerns over the tone of his message.
