Nigerian diplomat Bianca Ojukwu has shared photos from the recent high-level meeting between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London.
The images, posted on her verified Instagram page, @biancaodumegwuojukwu, captured key moments from the engagement held at No. 10 Downing Street, where both leaders met for bilateral talks.
In her caption, Bianca described the visit as a “defining moment", noting that discussions centred on strengthening ties between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
She stated that the meeting focused on critical areas such as economic cooperation, defence, counter-terrorism, capacity building, intelligence collaboration, and infrastructure development.
Bianca also revealed that a major outcome of the talks was a £746 million financing agreement involving UK Export Finance, the Nigerian Ports Authority, and Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Finance.
According to her, the deal is expected to support the rehabilitation of two major maritime facilities as part of efforts to modernise Nigeria’s transport system and boost trade infrastructure.
