Celebrity barman and socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has stirred reactions after hinting at a major political development in Nigeria’s Southeast.
The entrepreneur made the revelation through a post on his verified Instagram page, @cubana_chiefpriest, where he spoke about empowerment, unity, and the growth of the City Boy Movement. According to him, the movement represents a stronger voice from within the system, stressing that it is “better to fight from inside than outside.”
In his statement, Cubana Chief Priest disclosed that a big announcement concerning the Southeast would be made soon. He urged supporters to begin identifying with the City Boy Movement, describing it as more than just a political platform but a brotherhood built on hope, success, empowerment, and achievement.
He further revealed plans to strengthen the structure of the movement, announcing that he would appoint a deputy state director, who must be “a very solid woman”, followed by local government area directors and their deputies across all 27 LGAs.
The socialite also hinted at returning to Owerri with what he described as “juicy news”, a comment that has sparked speculation about possible political expansion and grassroots mobilisation in the region.
