Israel DMW has publicly defended Nigerian music superstar Davido and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, following a controversial claim made by journalist Kemi Olunloyo about the couple’s twin children.
The controversy began after Kemi Olunloyo alleged online that Davido’s twins with Chioma are autistic, a statement that immediately triggered outrage across social media. Many users condemned the claim, describing it as insensitive and inappropriate, especially as it involved minors.
Reacting to the allegation, Israel DMW, a close associate and aide to Davido, took to his verified Instagram page to shut down the narrative. In a strongly worded post, he stated that none of Davido’s children are autistic, adding that they are healthy, well cared for, and deliberately kept away from public view.
Israel further explained that Davido’s decision to keep his children off social media is a personal one, stressing that it should not be misinterpreted or used to fuel harmful rumours. He also claimed that the twins attend one of the most expensive schools in Atlanta, emphasising the level of care and attention given to their upbringing.
While many fans applauded Israel DMW for standing up for Davido and his family, others criticised the tone of his defence, noting that autism should not be spoken about as though it is a flaw or insult.
