Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has publicly expressed gratitude to his father, Dr Deji Adeleke, for stepping forward to address ongoing paternity claims involving a young girl identified as Anu Adeleke.

Dr Deji Adeleke recently held a press conference where he addressed the controversy surrounding the alleged child. During the briefing, he stated clearly that Anu is not his granddaughter, explaining that DNA tests had previously been conducted and showed no biological connection to Davido.

He also accused investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo of allegedly impersonating the minor online in a bid to target Davido. Dr Adeleke questioned the legality of such actions involving a minor and noted that the repeated claims could amount to defamation, adding that the family is considering legal action.
