Nightlife promoter Cubana Chief Priest has expressed excitement over the ongoing construction of a new beach-style recreational project in Owerri, Imo State.
The socialite shared multiple videos on his Instagram Story, capturing his tour of the vast sandy landscape believed to be part of the Otamiri River development project initiated by the state government.
In the videos, he praised Governor Hope Uzodimma for embarking on what he described as a transformational project that will redefine the capital city. According to him, the pace of development in Owerri is remarkable, and many people may soon struggle to recognise the city once the new initiatives are completed. He declared that the future of Owerri is “too bright with hope”, applauding the governor’s commitment to improving infrastructure and boosting tourism.
Cubana Chief Priest also referred to the emerging site as Otamiri Beach, suggesting that it could even serve as the venue for his highly anticipated Christmas concerts this year.
His posts have generated excitement among residents and fans, many of whom believe the project has the potential to become one of Imo State’s biggest entertainment and tourism attractions upon completion.
