Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, has shared a moment from her official duties after attending the 95th Session of the ECOWAS Council of Ministers with her daughter, Chi.
The minister made this known in a post shared on her verified Instagram page, @biancaodumegwuojukwu, where she disclosed that her daughter, who works with UN Tourism, accompanied her to the high-level regional meeting to gain firsthand insight into the demands of diplomatic service. According to Odumegwu-Ojukwu, the experience exposed Chi to the intense deliberations and long hours that often define such meetings. She noted that discussions at the conference hall frequently stretch into midnight and beyond, sustained by endless cups of tea, an experience her daughter did not anticipate.
Sharing the moment in a light-hearted tone, Odumegwu-Ojukwu described the outing as a practical lesson in resilience, dedication, and hard work, adding that real growth often comes from direct exposure to responsibility.
