Actress Chioma Grace Reacts To Doris Ogala’s Confession On Missing Child Case, Demands Full Disclosure
Nigerian actress and politician Chioma Grace Ifemeludike has reacted strongly following what she described as a confession by actress Doris Ogala concerning her role in the controversial case involving a missing child popularly known as Baby Testimony.
In a detailed Instagram post shared via her verified page, Ifemeludike said she became deeply disturbed after listening to Ogala’s confession, particularly the aspect relating to the baby’s testimony. She stated that knowing what the child may have gone through, or could still be going through if alive, leaves her emotionally shaken and unable to remain silent.
According to Ifemeludike, Doris Ogala admitted to receiving ₦45 million for the role she played in the case, which allegedly resulted in the imprisonment of the child’s disabled mother. She stressed that the matter should not be treated lightly, noting that it involves a full-term baby born to a vulnerable woman who was unable to properly defend herself.
The actress-politician questioned Ogala’s conscience and urged her to speak more clearly and openly, not just for public understanding but for the sake of truth, accountability, and history. She maintained that financial compensation cannot erase the consequences of actions taken against an innocent child and a helpless mother.
Ifemeludike further appealed to the Nigerian government, civil society organisations, and concerned citizens to seek clarity on what truly happened to the missing child and why the case has remained unresolved. She warned that ignoring the issue would amount to treating the life of the child as though it did not matter.
