A Responsible Man Does Not Demean A Woman He Once Cared For — Gina Onuoha Slams Oilmoney Over Angela
Nollywood actress and activist Gina Onuoha has issued a firm public warning to Mr Ala Kari, also known as Oilmoneyofficial, over his ongoing online attacks directed at actress Angela Okorie.
In a lengthy statement shared on her Instagram page, Gina said she has observed a continued pattern of insults, derogatory posts, and personal attacks against Angela, whom she publicly acknowledged as a former partner.
According to her, repeatedly dragging a woman online, resurfacing private matters, and involving her family crosses into cyber harassment. She stressed that such behaviour has legal implications under both UK and Nigerian laws, including the UK Malicious Communications Act 1988, the Communications Act 2003, the Protection from Harassment Act 1997, and Nigeria’s Cybercrimes Act 2015, all of which prohibit online threats, humiliation, and targeted bullying.
Gina added that a responsible man does not demean a woman he once cared for, nor involve her mother or child in personal disputes. She urged Mr Kari to stop the attacks, walk away with dignity, and allow peace to reign, noting that mature men close chapters with grace, not public tantrums.
