OKONKWO’S SHOCKER! Did You Not Hear Gov Alia Say ‘Foreign Invaders’ Are Behind The Benue Massacre?

This is an explosive update that will shake your table! Nigerian lawyer and ADC Chieftain, Barrister Kenneth Okonkwo, has thrown a massive political grenade, publicly alleging that Benue State Governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, previously confirmed the true identity of the killers terrorizing his state: they are reportedly foreign invaders. Speaking during an interview, Okonkwo did not mince words, directly challenging those who deny the severity of the violence against Christians across Nigeria.

The lawyer emphatically stood by international claims, particularly those from America, regarding the violence. For Okonkwo, you simply "can’t wish it away," especially when the evidence comes straight from the top. He fired the now-viral question: “Did you not hear the governor of Benue state, Governor Alia, saying that this massacre of his people are perpetrated by terrorists who are mostly foreign invaders?” This direct quote, if accurate, changes the entire narrative surrounding the persistent and deadly attacks in the Middle Belt.

Okonkwo then laid out the chilling motive behind the continuous massacres and killings. According to his interpretation of the Governor's statement, these foreign terrorists are operating with a clear, wicked aim: sacking the indigenous people from their ancestral land and taking over. This isn't just about cattle grazing or ethnic clashes; it's being framed as a calculated effort at land grab and elimination—a term some global bodies might define as genocide.

And this pattern, Okonkwo pointed out, is not restricted to Benue State alone. He quickly shifted focus to the continuous violence and persistent insecurity in the Plateau State region. Just like in Benue, he noted, residents in Plateau are desperately “shouting the same thing”—that the killers want to eliminate the people, displace them, and seize their valuable lands. The lawyer is arguing that a unified, coordinated, and dangerous strategy is clearly playing out across the two states.

But Okonkwo’s powerful intervention was not just about security; it was a scathing critique of Nigeria’s political class. He passionately called on the American government to halt their current approach of focusing solely on security interventions. He believes that throwing money and resources at the security problem is pointless when the foundation of the nation is rotting from within due to bad governance.

His radical solution? The lawyer is demanding that Western governments immediately implement sanctions on corrupt Nigerian political leaders. He wants the U.S. to specifically target those political figures who undermine free and fair elections, engage in brazen electoral rigging, and threaten violence to stay in power. According to him, these domestic criminals are the root cause of Nigeria’s woes.

He further stressed that Western nations already know which politicians are involved in financial crimes, having stolen Nigerian funds and cleverly hidden the proceeds in foreign accounts. Okonkwo's message to America and other foreign partners is clear: stop the half-measures and start holding the highest-ranking corrupt officials accountable by imposing targeted, painful sanctions.

Do you agree with Kenneth Okonkwo that Governor Alia confirmed the killers are 'foreign invaders,' and should the US government impose sanctions on our politicians? Share your fiery thoughts in the comments below!
