A new wave of controversy has erupted after Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, through his verified Instagram page @princenednwoko, released a formal clarification addressing the medical and rehabilitation reports circulating online about his wife, Regina Daniels.
According to the statement shared on his Instagram Story, the reports are authentic, though the rehabilitation centre stressed it did not leak or publish them due to strict confidentiality rules. The documents, however, were not denied by any of the institutions involved.
The toxicology and hospital findings listed marijuana, cocaine, morphine, opiates at extremely elevated levels, and alcohol at critically dangerous levels—substances described as posing serious health risks. Another report from Nizamiya Hospital, dated October 3rd, noted that Regina was brought in unconscious from a drug overdose, reinforcing the severity of the situation.
The statement also highlighted challenges faced during Regina’s rehabilitation, alleging that her siblings persistently interfered with treatment and even supplied her with alcohol and weed while she was undergoing therapy. This interference, according to the report, made successful rehabilitation “impossible”.
Nwoko’s communication team stressed that the Senator’s insistence on therapy is driven by genuine concern for Regina’s wellbeing and the stability she needs as a mother of two young sons. They added that private attempts to help her previously failed, and public denial only increases the risk.
The message concludes by stating Regina needs consistent treatment, protection, and support—not enabling behaviours or external pressures—affirming that she “deserves the chance to regain her health and stability.”
