Miss Universe Nigeria, Onyinyechi Basil, has officially arrived in Thailand ahead of the Miss Universe Global Event. The beauty queen shared the exciting update on her Instagram page @onyinyechi.basil.

She was spotted at the international airport looking elegant in a stylish white suit while proudly wearing her “Miss Universe Nigeria” sash. Onyinyechi also held the green-white-green Nigerian national flag, creating a bold patriotic moment as she stepped into Thailand for the international contest.

In one of the photos shared online, she was seen posing with Miss Universe Laos. Both contestants stood side-by-side holding their national flags with pride, which showed unity, excitement and global sisterhood as they prepared for the Miss Universe activities in Thailand.

Onyinyechi Basil said in her caption that she went through a roller coaster of emotions while reading the well wishes and prayers from Nigerians during her transit. She explained that each message she received acted as a special boost that pushed her passion even higher. According to her, “The Eagle Has Officially Landed In Thailand”, signalling that she is ready for the challenge ahead.
