“I Nearly Lost My Marriage 6 Years Ago After Regina Introduced Me To Drugs” — Laila Fires Back

Ned Nwoko’s Moroccan wife, Laila Charani, has fired back at Regina Daniels in a strongly worded statement addressing the escalating tension within the Nwoko household. Taking to Instagram, Laila debunked claims that she ever collected money from Regina, insisting she is fully content with the provisions her husband makes for her and their children. She challenged Regina to make their bank statements public to show who truly funds whom.

Laila stated that Ned Nwoko has always maintained a strict stance against alcohol, drugs, and smoking, stressing that he would never accept any wife who indulges in such habits. According to her, the ongoing dispute stems from Ned’s insistence that Regina must confront and treat her alleged addiction issues — a matter Laila says has been a long-standing concern for her husband.

She further alleged that she nearly lost her marriage six years ago after Regina introduced her to drugs, noting that Ned’s swift intervention rescued her from that destructive path. Laila claimed Regina has been a negative influence within the family, accusing her of giving drugs to nannies, workers, and even her younger sister Destiny.

According to Laila, Regina’s behaviour has made her unwilling to allow her daughters around her unsupervised, alleging past inappropriate conduct and widespread negative influence. She urged Regina to seek immediate help, continue her rehabilitation, and refrain from dragging other wives into the issue.

Laila concluded that her response comes from a place of truth and concern, not anger, emphasising the severity of the lies she believes Regina is spreading.
