Bandits Now Go Live On TikTok And Instagram While Our Children Remain Missing — Uba Sandra Cries Out
Nigerian activist and justice advocate Uba Sandra Chisom has expressed deep concern over the alarming boldness of bandits and kidnappers who now go LIVE on TikTok and Instagram while abducted children remain missing in the forests.
In a strongly worded and emotional post shared on her Instagram page, Chisom questioned how society had deteriorated to a point where violent criminals freely showcase their activities online without fear of consequences. She described the trend as heartbreaking and a painful reflection of Nigeria’s worsening security challenges. According to her, while these criminals openly flaunt their acts of terror, innocent children remain stranded and terrified in the bush, crying out for help. She lamented that countless mothers are losing sleep, unsure whether their children are still alive, while many families continue to break under the weight of fear, uncertainty, and emotional trauma. Chisom condemned what she called the disturbing normalisation of criminality in the digital age, insisting that no functional system should allow such impunity to thrive.
She urged security agencies and relevant authorities to act decisively and restore safety before the situation grows even worse.
