Nollywood actress Blessing Yandi has taken to her Instagram page to accuse actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie of taking away a movie role from her many years ago and contributing to what she described as unfair blacklisting in the industry.
In a written message posted on her Instagram page, Yandi stated that she intends to confront Yul Edochie anywhere she sees him, whether on a plane, inside a church, at a supermarket, or in any other public place. She declared that she would not forgive him until he recommends her for the exact kind of role she believes he took away from her.
The actress explained in her caption that she was oppressed fifteen years ago and has carried the pain since then. She added that many actors were blacklisted without knowing what they did wrong. According to her, some performers even paid producers to exclude people they disliked, a practice she said harmed many careers.
Yandi said she has now chosen to speak out because she vowed never to remain silent again. She insisted that the experience affected her deeply and believes Yul Edochie understands how serious the situation was for her.
