A Nigerian digital creator has sparked conversations online after criticising the growing number of women purchasing e-books that allegedly teach strategies on how to extract money from men.
Gold Chinaza, who is active on TikTok with the handle @goldchinaza_, shared a viral video where she expressed disbelief that some women are paying as much as ₦10,000 to learn how to “bill a man”. She questioned why such women still claim that men are not the prize while actively seeking ways to benefit financially from them.
In the video, Chinaza argued that the act of spending money and effort to acquire techniques for getting money from men suggests dependency, pointing out that it contradicts the narrative of independence often promoted online. She further noted that if women have to follow these methods, it indicates that men hold significant value in their lives.
Gold Chinaza also highlighted the increasing use of attraction oils and charms by some women who want to secure financial or emotional commitment from men, adding a warning that such tactics could lead to unexpected consequences if used on the wrong individuals.
Her video has generated widespread reactions across social media, with many users debating modern relationship expectations and the growing trend of transactional dating.
