Nigerian social media influencer and automobile dealer Waris Olayinka Akinwande, popularly known as Ola of Lagos (@ola_of_lagos), has reacted following the demolition of his OOL Autos showroom, which was reportedly affected by the government’s operation targeting structures built under high-tension power lines.
In a series of posts shared on his Instagram stories, Ola expressed appreciation to everyone who reached out to him with calls and messages of concern. He assured his followers that he was doing fine, saying he had been facing financial losses for a long time—losses that could have comfortably gotten him a four-bedroom apartment in Ikoyi. “Thank you all. I’m good. I promise I’m smiling right now,” he wrote, adding that he has chosen to remain thankful to God and continue spreading positivity despite setbacks.
Ola also revealed that his company, OOL Autos, will soon bounce back stronger. “OOL Autos New Showroom is coming soon—bigger and better, Insha Allah,” he announced. He reassured his customers that the business remains fully operational and that clean cars are still available pending the completion of their new office.
