Nollywood actress and businesswoman Sarah Martins has confronted Arise TV journalist Rufai Oseni, accusing him of being obsessed with her and spreading false narratives about her charitable work.
In a lengthy statement shared via her verified Instagram page, @officialsarahmartins, the actress questioned Rufai’s constant criticism and asked whether he had a personal issue with her. She expressed disappointment over what she described as “unnecessary obsession” and urged him to stop the hate and comparison.
Sarah defended her recent charity outreach in Canada, explaining that she cooked indoors due to the freezing weather conditions. She asked critics to “Google the current weather degree in Canada” to understand why cooking outdoors was unsafe.
The actress also reminded the public that she had previously apologised to the Lagos State Government for obstructing rules during her earlier outreach programme and reaffirmed her commitment to doing things properly. She added that her Canadian charity event had been planned long before the Lagos incident and was sponsored by @suyaroyale and @ricci_products.
Sarah concluded her post with a message to Rufai, stating, “With all due respect, stop the hate and comparison. I haven’t done you any wrong.”
