Nollywood actress Eve Esin has opened up about her inspiring journey to finding love and getting married at the age of 43, after years of waiting and holding onto faith in God’s timing.

Taking to her verified Instagram handle, @eveesin, the actress shared the joyous news while encouraging others not to give up on love. She revealed that she had a private legal marriage at 43, turned 44 on October 17, and celebrated both her traditional and public wedding on October 18. Eve described her experience as one defined by faith, patience, and divine grace.

In her emotional post, she wrote, “This message is to encourage anyone who has lost hope. I’m not a motivational speaker, just a woman God showed mercy. I got legally married at 43, even though I’m naturally very private. The photos will still come. To many, my story may seem impossible, but God made it possible.”

Speaking about the pressure society places on women over marriage, Eve said, “43 and unmarried? They call you old cargo! But who can decree a thing and make it stand when God hasn’t spoken? Delay is not denial.”
