Where and How It Happened
The arrest took place in Aku-Ihube, located in Okigwe LGA, Imo State, during a coordinated operation by the 34 Artillery Brigade and other security agencies. It was at his hideout there that the operation finally cornered him.

Other Operations Across States
While the Imo State operation delivered the biggest knockout, the Army was busy elsewhere too:

- Specifically:
5 freed in Madagali LGA (Adamawa)
5 in Malumfashi LGA (Katsina)
2 in Lokoja (Kogi)
